A stunning Rezzonico-style chandelier, made from clear Murano glass with golden accents.
Rezzonico chandeliers appeared in the Venetian palazzi in the 17th century. Chandelier designs were becoming ever larger as the Venetian businessmen competed to display their wealth, but the chandeliers were breaking under their own weight.
This prompted the development of the metal frame and the conjoined glass sleeves which cover the arms, and the Rezzonico style was born.
